Lawrence Bunnell is Managing Partner and Principal Broker of bloomkey.com, an Internet based, real estate brokerage firm offering United States, Mexican and Canadian consumers online real estate brokerage products and services. Lawrence has been a full-time licensed REALTOR® since 1984 and has been a licensed real estate broker in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

During his career, Lawrence has represented literally thousands of residential resale, new homes, investment and commercial buyers and sellers. He has been recognized as one of the nation's top selling residential professionals by such leading real estate organizations as: the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR), the Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR), RE/MAX Real Estate, Coldwell Banker Real Estate, and Electronic Realty Associates (ERA). Lawrence's unparalleled track record for selling homes has placed him among the top half of 1% of real estate professionals in the country. Lawrence was named as one of the Top 10 Real Estate Professionals by the Richmond Association of REALTOR®s for 2004, 2005 and again in 2006 and, as a member of the NOVA Association of REALTOR®, was one of the top selling Realtors® in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast regions from 2007-2011 while achieving record breaking sales.

Prior to forming bloomkey, Lawrence originated the idea for Internet based real estate brokerage firm in 1997. He co-founded and later sold one of the first Internet real estate companies, homebytes.com, inc. homebytes became the first non-franchise real estate company to be licensed in all 50 states and was the first national company to offer real estate brokerage services on the Internet. homebytes obtained over $30,000,000 in investment capital from Venture Capital firms such as America Online (AOL), LandAmerica, Gro-Tech Capital and FBR Venture Technology.

Lawrence has been a consultant to the U.S. Department of Justice and the Canadian Competition Bureau regarding limited service brokerage and competition in the real estate industry. His letters, comments and articles on real estate and technology have appeared in numerous offline and online publications including REALTOR® Magazine and Inman News where he has been a panel speaker. Lawrence started his career as a real estate agent in 1984 becoming a real estate broker in 1987. He is a former board member of the Chesterfield County Community Service Board. He is currently a Project Management Professional (PMP) candidate. Lawrence obtained his B. A. in Political Science, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Degree in Information Systems and is currently working towards his Masters in Information Systems and Business Administration all from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) .
