Flat fee companies like Bloomkey are licensed real estate brokers. In fact, the only way to list a property in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is to list with a real estate broker. While most flat fee companies simply place your property data in the MLS, Bloomkey can provide a much higher level of service. Depending upon the level of service you choose, Bloomkey can manage your transaction, set up showings, write and negotiate your contract and perform all of the other services of a traditional Realtor (except for opening the door).
My question is that you say to contact a sales agent but is this agent a licensed real estate professional in the state (I live in PA) where I live? Does this agent handle transactions, set up showings, etc? I am confused as to whether your services are a real estate office or just an advertising mechanism? Am I still a For Sale By Owner, and must handle all my paperwork, including the contract? Never did this before so I need answers.
